Forest of Memories promotes and supports the development of green burial options in both the USA and Canada.

Our purpose is to:

• Inform and educate people regarding green burial / cremation options in North America.
• Establish a comprehensive library for green burial research.
• Provide resources for lawmakers and to help guide policy decisions for green cemeteries and green burial grounds.
• Coordinate individuals and grass roots initiatives and establish a common voice.
• Establish a referral service for green burial grounds.
• Support and encourage environmentally sound burial products.
• Work with new and existing funeral service providers to promote low cost environmentally friendly burial options.
